The lighting in your home will affect your mood in many ways. It will lift you up, or it will bring you down. It could inspire creativity, or could produce laziness.

Whatever it is you are trying to achieve in your life, you better believe the lighting will make or break you. When decorating or re-decorating your home, far too many times people ignore the lighting. It just doesn't seem to be a priority as it should be. The lighting sets the mood for everything! And not just the brightness of the light. The look of the fixture can also make or break a room.

If you have a newly decorated room with fresh paint and nice decorations, then shouldn't the lighting be just as important considering it is how you will "see" all of that new stuff? Of course! And shouldn't the fixture itself match the mood of the room you are trying to show off? Of course it should! It is the most commonly missed piece of the puzzle.

I believe that the light fixture should be the absolute last thing picked out when decorating a room. It should be picked out carefully, and it should be used creatively.

Don't go painting a room a dark sexy color just to have a bright white fixture hanging in the middle of all of it. Blend it right in with rest of the room and it's mood! It is so important.

I think that these go really really well in a bedroom or home office, but if you have your living room done in black and white, or even bright colors- these lamps will go with just about anything EXCEPT neutral!
